From our founder
Cordelia has been doing this since 2014, long before it was a nonprofit.
It started with one family, then another, by phone, from her living room, around a full-time rotating shift schedule. Cordelia is a mother of a child with special needs. She arrived in Canada not knowing how the system works, and learned it the hard way so other families don’t have to.

A new program
The siblings carry it too.
A sibling learns to read a room before they learn to read a book. when to ask for help, when to stay quiet, when it’s their turn to be the strong one. Cordelia has watched that happen in other families, and in her own.
So we’re building a program that supports the whole household together: the sibling, the parents, and the child. If this is your family, tell us. It will shape what we build.

We need people who can sit with a family, help them work a system out, or talk with a parent one to one. A few hours a month is enough. There is an application and a criminal record check, and Cordelia speaks to everyone herself.
